            Privacy First: Your anime watchlist, ratings, and preferences stay on YOUR device. We don't collect, store, or have access to any of your personal anime data or viewing history.

Anime Timer is designed with your privacy in mind. This app functions entirely on your device, and all your personal data remains under your control. This Privacy Policy explains what limited information we collect and how third-party services operate within the app.

2. Data Storage - Your Device Only

All of your personal data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:

Your anime watchlist
Watched anime history
Your ratings and preferences
Notification settings
Quiz scores and progress
All other app data and settings

We cannot access this data. It remains on your device until you choose to delete it.

3. Information We DO Collect

The only data we collect is through third-party services for analytics and advertising:

3.1 Google AdMob (Advertising)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the free version of the app. AdMob may collect:

Advertising ID (a unique identifier for your device)
Device type and operating system version
IP address (approximate location)
Ad interaction data (which ads you viewed or clicked)

This data is collected and managed by Google, not by us. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.

3.2 AniList API

We use the AniList API to fetch anime information, including:

Anime titles and descriptions
Cover images and ratings
Episode information
Trending and upcoming anime data

No personal information is sent to AniList. Only search queries and content requests are made.

3.3 Apple App Store

In-app purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Apple handles all payment information according to their privacy policy.

Your location (beyond approximate location for ads)
Any data that can identify you personally

5. How We Use Information

The limited information collected through third-party services is used to:

Display relevant advertisements (AdMob)
Fetch anime information and updates (AniList)
Process in-app purchases (Apple)
Improve app performance and stability

6. Your Control Over Data

6.1 Your Anime Data

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

View: Access all your data anytime within the app
Edit: Modify any information whenever you want
Delete: Remove individual entries or uninstall the app to clear all data
Backup: Your data follows iOS backup settings (iCloud or iTunes)

6.2 Advertising Preferences

You can control advertising:

Remove Ads: Purchase "Remove Ads" to permanently remove all advertisements
Limit Ad Tracking: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → toggle off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
Reset Advertising ID: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → Reset Advertising Identifier

6.3 Notifications

Control notification permissions:

In-app: Settings → Notification preferences
iOS Settings: Settings → Anime Timer → Notifications

7. Data Security

Since your personal data never leaves your device, it's protected by:

iOS built-in security features
Device encryption (if enabled on your device)
Your device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID

We recommend keeping your device updated and using device security features to protect your data.

8. Children's Privacy

Our app is suitable for users aged 13 and above. Since we don't collect personal information (beyond advertising IDs handled by Google), there is no direct collection of data from children. All anime data remains on the device.
