Exotic Bird Care ("the App") is designed with your privacy as a priority. We believe your bird care data is personal and should remain completely under your control.
In short: We don't collect any data. Everything you enter in the app stays on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
Data Storage
All data you create in Exotic Bird Care is stored locally on your device:
- Bird profiles and photos
- Feeding logs and schedules
- Health records and weight logs
- Medication and supplement tracking
- Cage information and cleaning logs
- Reminders and notifications
- All other app data
This means:
- Your data is available offline
- We cannot access your data
- Your data is never uploaded to any server
- Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all data
What We Don't Collect
We do not collect:
- Personal information (name, email, phone)
- Device identifiers or IP addresses
- Usage analytics or statistics
- Location data
- Photos or images
- Any data you enter in the app
- Crash reports or diagnostics
Third-Party Services
Exotic Bird Care uses the following third-party services:
- Google AdMob: Displays advertisements in the free version. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings. Google Privacy Policy

Bird Identifier Feature
If you use the Bird Identifier feature, photos are sent to OpenAI's API for species identification. These photos are:
- Used only for identification purposes
- Not stored permanently on any server
- Not used for training AI models
- Processed according to OpenAI's privacy policy
No other data from your device is transmitted during this process.
Data Backup
Since all data is stored locally:
- You can back up your data using your device's backup features (iCloud Backup, iTunes)
- We recommend regular backups to prevent data loss
- We cannot recover lost data as we don't have access to it
Children's Privacy
Since we don't collect any personal data, Exotic Bird Care is safe for users of all ages. No personal information from children (or anyone) is ever collected or stored by us.
Your Control
You have complete control over your data:
- Delete data: Remove any bird, log, or record within the app
- Delete all data: Uninstall the app to remove everything
- Export data: Use the export feature to save your data
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change our privacy practices, we will update this policy and notify you through the app. Our commitment to not collecting your data will remain unchanged.
