By downloading, installing, or using Exotic Bird Care ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may:

• Use the App on devices you own or control
• Create bird profiles and track care information
• Use the Bird Identifier feature within usage limits
• Export your data for personal use

You may NOT:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse engineer or decompile the App
• Use the App for commercial purposes
• Attempt to bypass usage limits or restrictions

3. Subscriptions & Purchases

Some features require a premium subscription or one-time purchase.

Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Manage subscriptions in your App Store account settings
• Prices may vary by region

Refunds

Refund requests must be directed to Apple as per App Store policies. We do not process refunds directly.

4. User Content & Data

All data you create (bird profiles, logs, photos) is stored locally on your device.

• You retain full ownership of your data
• We cannot access, view, or recover your data
• You are responsible for backing up your data
• Uninstalling the app deletes all data permanently

5. Bird Identifier Feature

The AI-powered Bird Identifier is for informational and educational purposes only.

Usage Limits

• Free users: 2 identifications total
• Pro subscribers: 100 identifications per month

6. Medical & Veterinary Disclaimer

• Care Guides, Food Safety data, and health tips are for educational purposes only
• The App does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Always consult a qualified avian veterinarian for health concerns
• In emergencies, contact an avian veterinarian immediately

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its content are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Our property includes:

• App design, code, and interface
• Care Guides and educational content
• Toxic Food Database
• Logos, icons, and branding

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• Results from using the App will be accurate

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for loss of data (stored locally on your device)
• We are not liable for any decisions made based on App information
• We are not liable for your birds' health or wellbeing

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to terminate access for violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
