MaxOut ("we," "our," or "the App") is a strength training calculator and tracker for iOS. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use MaxOut.
MaxOut is designed as a privacy-first, offline application. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
MaxOut does not collect, store, or share any of the following:
All data you enter into MaxOut — including body weight, exercise calculations, personal records, goals, and preferences — is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
If you use the Apple Watch companion app, data is synced between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This communication occurs directly between your paired devices and does not pass through any external servers.
MaxOut offers optional in-app purchases, including auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase, to unlock premium features. These transactions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.
Subscription management, billing, and renewal are handled by Apple. You can manage or cancel your subscriptions at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
The free version of MaxOut displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Google may collect certain device and usage information to serve relevant ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.
MaxOut Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements.
MaxOut may request permission to send local push notifications for features such as rest timer alerts, PR celebrations, and goal reminders. These notifications are generated and scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in Settings.

MaxOut is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no personal data is collected by the App, there is no risk of children's data being stored or shared.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all your data at any time by using the "Clear All History" option in the App's Settings, or by uninstalling the App from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
